Collyers Services has been established since 1993, we are a specialised agricultural contracting company based near Petersfield, Hampshire at Blackmoor Estate on the outskirts of Bordon and service the surrounding counties. We cover all aspects of crop treatments and applications using the latest technology and use experienced continually trained staff.
We pride ourselves on investing in the newest technologies so that growers can benefit from it by using an innovative contractor.

Spare Parts
We can supply all sprayer spares from pump diaphragms, hoses, to a complete range of nozzles, caps holders etc. We can also supply all PPE equipment for spraying and in the workshops.
All parts can be supplied and fitted if required. We undertake complete overhauls of whole sprayers, pumps with the sprayer being ready to be tested under NSTS Scheme as we are a registered centre.

A user friendly, fast-responding automatic regulation system for all types of sprayer.

Drill Controller
A variable rate control and monitoring system for seed drills that removes the need for a mechanically driven landwheel by operating the metering unit with an electric motor maintaining its speed proportional to forward speed.
- Pre-start facility – to prime the seed mechanism before drilling, simply press the Pre-Start Button, wait a few seconds and pull away.
- Simple & fast operator product calibration – press Drill Priming Button, dispense product into a container, weigh and enter information into the instrument.
- Calibration ‘on the move’
- Integrated SD card reader – allows basic data logging to produce field records. Prints in text or csv format for uploading directly into a spreadsheet or yield map proprietary software packages.

Sprayer Testing
Following on from the company’s years of experience it is also an NSTS Test Centre. The NSTS is the National Sprayer Testing Scheme for the UK. It has been part of UK agriculture since 2003 and a main pillar of the Voluntary Initiative. NSTS tested sprayers are a requirement of UK crop assurance scheme and supermarket protocols and NSTS satisfies the sprayer testing requirements for the Sustainable Use Directive.
Tests are carried out on the grower’s premises and any faults found can be fixed and maintained on site at the time of the test. Collyers can also supply and fit parts if necessary.
The full test consists of 47 test items, the first 30 of which must be satisfied to receive a pass certificate. The subsequent 10 are advisory and the final 7 optional test elements.
The testing covers all application components of the sprayer to ensure the machine is working correctly and efficiently with further considerations of safety for the sprayer operative and the environment.
With optimum sprayer calibration and boom and nozzle maintenance you can feel confident you are using your expensive pesticides efficiently and accurately.
Fertilizer Tray / Slug Pelleter Testing
To make the most out of your fertiliser it is important to have your spreader calibrated every year, to ensure the product is being applied efficiently and accurately and to prevent waste and stripping of the crop resulting in loss of yield.
- We carry out a thorough examination of the machine and its parts. A check list is carried out and you be given a list of any improvements that are necessary.
- We will check your fertiliser and make sure it is suitable for spreading.
- A tray test analysis is then carried out, the CV is measured and a report is completed.
- Any changes are then undertaken according to the results.
